2010 HM Forces Ice Hockey Championships

The 2010 HM Forces Ice Hockey Championships will take place at Ice Sheffield 8 to 11 June 2010.  The championships contain the concurrent running of the 2 main annual forces competitions: the Tri-Service Command Championships where 10-12 teams from RAF, RN and Army units across the UK compete for the title and the Inter-Services, where the best players from each service play each other to determine the HM Forces Champs.  The RN won the Tri-Service Command Championship for the first time last year, following 3 strait 3rd place finishes by one of its teams.  The RAF won their first Inter-Services in 2009, following back-to-back wins by the RN in 2007 and 2008.  Games run all day and admission is free.
